Having known and worked closely with her on a number of projects over the last several years, it was apparent from day one the kind of person she was in this sort of working environment and the natural sensibility she brings to the work inside it.

Catherine's attitude and communication to the history behind any costume piece, down to the trim of a cloak, a button or belt buckle, stands ahead of the vast majority of men and women working in their field. Not only does she naturally have the skill and understanding to evolve and expand the way she works in terms of techniques, applications and materials, her process culminates in an end result that firmly anchors any character into their environment with a strong and convincing silhouette whether it be on stage or screen, wide or closeup.

In the foundation of a world down to the smallest detail with the highest level of precision means that her handy work is apparent but never unwelcome. Catherine is as reliable as her pieces are and that is a reason that, after many years, her name is still at the top of my list.

I have the utmost respect and admiration for Catherine. I first commissioned her help for the embroidery work of the Princess Zelda cosplay. Photos don't do the end result justice! It is easily the key feature of that whole cosplay and the first thing anyone asks me about when I'm wearing it. People always ask for a closer look and are as stunned by her beautiful work as I am. I enlisted her skill again for the Queen Cersei coronation gown. This was around the time there were little references for the gown itself. Catherine basically became an engineer. She worked everything out from the pattern to a petticoat to give the gown the same structure as the one in the series. She even sourced the golden material underneath when I was having trouble finding some myself and spent hours hand-punching EACH INDIVIDUAL HOLE in the pleather. She has incredible dedication to her projects and it shows in everything she produces. Nothing I have from her has worn down or torn. She even provided instructions on how to care for all the pieces I have from her.

On top of doing outstanding work, Catherine has excellent communication with clients. She provides regular updates on her processes and will ensure everything is coming together with multiple fittings. Amazing work, amazing person. Cannot sing her praises highly enough! Thank you, Catherine!

By far one of the best commissions I've ordered. Cathy was amazing to communicate with and any questions I had were answered promptly and in-depth. The process was also the most thorough I've been through out of all the things I've ever commissioned. The contract, costume mock-up and notes regarding the try-on sample were easy to understand and any suggestions I had or comments I made were taken on board. The final product is absolutely incredible and the attention to detail, down to things I hadn't even noticed in my initial research of the design are there.
